Kerry-Ann (31) & Simon (26)

Talks too much of her hours...

Background

Kerry-Ann (31) leads an extremely busy life -- her job requires a lot of traveling which means she never gets the chance to meet people outside of her work environment. Simon (26) was sick of the pub and club scene and wanted to meet new people in a more personal atmosphere, where they could sit and talk without all the loud distractions. Both were tired of being single and wanted to find that 'special' someone to have a relationship with but both were unsure where to meet them...

Solution

Kerry-Ann works in a job where she is constantly traveling and is away from home a lot, making it very difficult to find time to socialise. She continually found herself interacting with people from her work and really wanted to "... expand my friends to include people outside my work setting". Joanne Daniels believes Kerry-Anns problem is common "People approach us for countless reasons... many such as Kerry-Ann are bubbly and outgoing people who just don't have the time in their work schedule to meet people... so we do all the work for them".

Kerry-Ann had been single for over three years. Her busy work schedule just didn't allow for her to meet new people. She had seen the Vital Partners advertisement in the newspaper and had kept it in her purse for almost three months before she made the call "I kept putting it off... I thought only desperate people went to dating agencies". Joanne Daniels, Vital Partners Consultant said that many people are still nervous about the dating agency stigma but once people contact Vital Partners they discover "We are simply there to help them meet like minded people... people who are genuinely looking for a relationship, in a safe and secure environment".

Though she was unsure about what to expect when she contacted Vital Partners, Kerry-Ann decided to keep an open mind and step outside the square "What I liked about Vital Partners is that you had control over who you dated... you are given a detailed profile of compatible partners based on your own answers and interests and you can choose who you want to meet". Joanne Daniels believes that Vital Partners is so successful because "It's a really personal service. We meet everyone face to face. We do all the hard work for you". Both Kerry-Ann and Simon agreed that meeting with the consultant on a one to one basis really helped to put them at ease and provided a lot of support "Joanne was genuinely excited about finding a match... her excitement was really contagious".

Simon heard about Vital Partners through his sister and now brother in law who also met through Vital Partners a few years ago. He was tired of going to the same clubs and pubs and only meeting girls who were looking for a fling or a bit of fun "I was looking for someone who I could have a serious relationship with, someone that I could be myself and be happy with".

Simon had only been a member of Vital Partners for three weeks when he met Kerry-Ann on his first date and the connection was immediate. Both Kerry-Ann and Simon recalled how much they had in common "It was like we were finishing and starting each others sentences for one another... we just clicked really well". Kerry-Ann was happy to meet someone who respected her career choice and didn't try to change her "All the guys I knew before wanted me to quit my job... Simon is really patient and supportive".

Outcome.

The happy couple has been together for the past four months and spend every available minute together. They are excited about their relationship and look forward to exploring whatever the future may hold together.
